Dharma Productions is one of India’s most iconic film studios, shaping the cultural fabric of the country through decades of storytelling and blockbuster hits.
With a diverse portfolio ranging from mainstream commercial successes to digital-first originals, Dharma continues to push the boundaries of Indian cinema.
As the entertainment industry shifted towards digital-first discovery, Dharma needed a web platform that could both honor its legacy and meet the demands of an OTT-driven future.
Objective
Dharma Productions partnered with ting to build a world-class website that would serve as the ultimate destination for its films.
The objectives were clear:
Showcase the Complete Film Line-up – Present Dharma’s extensive filmography in a way that was both visually captivating and easy to navigate.
Enable Deep Content Exploration – Design immersive movie pages where fans, media, and partners could dive into trailers, posters, cast, crew, and behind-the-scenes stories.
Future-Proof the Digital Ecosystem – Build a scalable foundation that could adapt as new films and formats emerged.
A Cinematic Gateway to Dharma’s Universe
The homepage of Dharma Productions was designed as a cinematic gateway — bold, immersive, and instantly reflective of the studio’s legacy. It opens with striking visuals that highlight marquee films, while clean navigation invites users to seamlessly explore the film library. Every element was crafted to balance storytelling with usability, ensuring the homepage not only captures attention but also sets the tone for the rich, content-driven journey that follows.
Immersive Movie Pages Tailored to Every Story
For each film, ting created an elaborate inside-page design that went far beyond a standard listing. Every section from cast and crew to galleries and behind-the-scenes content was thoughtfully structured to enrich the viewing experience.
Each movie was given its own unique digital flavour, with design elements tailored to reflect the tone, style, and essence of the film, making the website feel like a living archive of Dharma’s cinematic universe.
Outcome
Since its launch in 2017, the Dharma Productions website has been scaled and maintained by ting, evolving alongside the studio’s growing filmography.
Every new release has been meticulously added through a state-of-the-art CMS, ensuring the platform remains fresh, comprehensive, and easy to manage.
This consistent upkeep has transformed the site into a living archive of Dharma’s cinematic journey — delighting fans with seamless access to their favorite films while reinforcing the studio’s digital-first vision.
