With the league evolving and attracting a younger, more design-aware audience, the team saw an opportunity to refresh its brand and match the energy, grit, and spirit of the sport on and off the mat.
Objective
Puneri Paltan approached ting with the goal of redefining its identity for a new era of kabaddi—one that was faster, fiercer, and more fan-focused.
The mandate was clear:
Reimagine the team’s visual identity to feel more modern while staying rooted in Pune’s rich cultural and sporting heritage.
Design a bold new logo, typeface, and color system that could flex across digital, print, and on-ground formats.
Create a visual language and merchandise-ready system that fans could proudly wear and rally behind—both in-stadium and online.
This was not just a logo redesign—it was a full-fledged sports rebranding exercise to unify the franchise’s voice, visuals, and vibe.

Crafted by ting, the logo blends valour, heritage, and contemporary energy. The lion—majestic and fierce—represents power, unity, and the fighting spirit of Pune.
The modern stylization ensures the identity stands tall across digital, broadcast, and merchandise formats, while the rooted symbolism connects deeply with the team’s cultural DNA.
It’s a mark that’s progressive in appearance, yet proudly grounded in tradition—exactly like the team it represents.

When it came to the jersey redesign for Puneri Paltan, ting delivered a kit that was more than just a uniform—it was a symbol of pride, power, and place.
The saffron base, inspired by Maratha heritage, commands attention on and off the mat. Subtle lion graphics are integrated into the fabric, echoing the logo’s energy while adding depth and distinction.
Sharp contour lines at the shoulders represent movement, strength, and strategy—mirroring the spirit of kabaddi. From high-performance athletes to die-hard fans, the jersey was designed to unify everyone under one bold identity.
The look was further extended into training and travel kits, creating a visually cohesive apparel system that elevated the team’s presence across every touchpoint—from the stadium to social media.
